DOLPHIN AND SIGHTSEEING TOUR

This trip will go from Captiva and travel past North Captiva, Cayo Costa, and up to Boca Grande Pass at Gasparilla Island. Travel back south to Useppa Island and then to the historic fish houses of Pine Island Sound. It is very common to encounter dolphin throughout Pine Island Sound but there is no guarantee.

CAYO COSTA SHELLING TRIP
BOOK TOUR

Walk the 9 miles of secluded beach on the island of Cayo Costa, a state park reachable only by boat. Enjoy your time looking for shells, swimming, snorkeling, or just relaxing in the sun.


We’ll have buckets for you to collect shells in, noodles for you to float with, and an umbrella for you to get out of the sun.


Don’t forget your sunglasses, sunscreen, towels, and camera.

DINNER & SUNSET CRUISE

This trip starts with a nice cruise to Cabbage Key Restaurant (also known as the “Dollar Bill Bar” was started around 1971 and has been visited by Ernest Hemmingway, Katharine Hepburn, Ted Koppel, Jimmy (Cheeseburger in Paradise) Buffett, Julia Roberts, and Rob Lowe.


After dinner explore the island for a while and then back to the boat for more cruising before watching the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico.

LUNCH TRIP

This trip lasts 3-½ to 4 hours. We suggest we arrive at the restaurant for an early lunch (11:15) or a late lunch (1:30) to avoid the crowds.

Bokeelia offers lunch at Lazy Flamingo serving a large selection of seafood, burgers, chicken dishes.


Pinelands Tarpon Lodge Restaurant is more upscale dining than the other waterfront options. Large selection of appetizers, salad, seafood, and a few meat options. Based on reservation availability.

SUNRISE BREAKFAST CRUISE TO CABBAGE KEY

3Watch the sunrise over Pine Island Sound while cruising to Cabbage Key for a great breakfast at an iconic island restaurant, only accessible by boat.


After breakfast, take a quick stroll around and look for the gopher tortoises that inhabit the area.

SUNSET CRUISE

This trip starts with a leisurely cruise down the Roosevelt Channel between Captiva and Buck Key. We’ll continue past Blind Pass and then out to the Intracoastal Waterway to watch the sunset from the Gulf of Mexico and hopefully see the elusive “Green Flash.”


This trip lasts about 1-½ to 2 hours so bring along your favorite beverage or bottle of wine and some cheese to enjoy during the trip.

SHOPPING, SIGHTSEEING AND LUNCH TRIP

Visit Boca Grande on Gasparilla Island, Matlacha on Pine Island or Fishermen’s Village in Punta Gorda for lunch, sightseeing and shopping options.


Boca Grande: Spend some time strolling the boutique-lined streets of this charming town, which is the center of Gasparilla Island. Visit the historic Gasparilla Inn and Club and have lunch at one of the area’s many restaurants. This trip lasts about 5 hours (about 2 hours of total boating time).



Fisherman’s Village in Punta Gorda: Visit over 30 shops and restaurants in this lively waterfront community, which also holds a marina, luxury homes, special events, and even a military museum. This trip lasts about 6-½ hours (about 3 hours of boating time).
